IMAP Backup is automatically activated on all email accounts hosted with Simplicato. If you are not a Simplicato email customer, IMAP Backup may be ordered (with a free trial) from the IMAP Backup website.
After an IMAP Backup Snapshot file is restored, a folder containing all the emails and subfolders is placed in the email account the backup is restored to. The folder has a name which begins with “Restore” and ends with the date of the restore in the format “mmddyyyy”.

To view the email accounts currently being backed up by IMAP Backup, click the “Backup Accounts” link on the IMAP Backup Menu. The “Last Backup” date should be 24 hours or less and the “Active” column should display “Yes”.
Prior to logging into IMAP Backup and IMAP Archiver for the first time, a password must be established for the account. In order to setup a new password for your IMAP Backup account, please visit the Login page (using the Login link at the top of the page) and click the “Reset Password”...
